Welcome to TypeDock
A short note on why this site exists, and what you might find here.

This site is a small experiment in slow publishing — written in plain HTML, served from a $5 server, and updated whenever the writing is ready, not whenever the algorithm wants something new.
What this is
A personal website built on TypeDock, a modern PHP CMS that tries to disappear behind the writing. There is no JavaScript framework, no build step, and no analytics. The whole site is served as static-feeling HTML from a tiny SQLite database.
The web does not need more content. It needs more places — corners that feel inhabited, where the same person keeps showing up.
What you will find here
Notes — short essays on the things I keep thinking about.
Photography — frames from walks and slow afternoons.
Code — how this site is built and how I host it cheaply.
If any of that sounds interesting, the RSS feed is the kindest way to follow along.
